    • from Koon and Coons Families: "Simon W. Kuhn...lived in Clermont. ..He had some trouble with his brother-in-law Simon Rockefeller and in Oct., 1826, Simon and Philip D. Rockefeller obtained a Judgment against him for over $1350, and his property in Clermont was seized by the sheriff. He also sold property in northern Dutchess Co. in 1827 and 1830, and possibly lived there at some time. He also had a 2nd cousin who married Peter Rockefeller."
