"I found Alison on the census and knew she emigrated from Canada . She and Robert married in Toronto on September 29, 1881. Robert William Coon was 27, lists New York State as his birthplace. His parents were Robert W. and Catherine Coon. Allison was 24, born in Toronto to Duncan and Elizabeth(Fisher) Davidson. Robert was Lutheran and Allison, Congregational. They were married by Joseph Wild. Their witnesses were Willett F Caey and Amelia Jettie Davis (this was my great grandmother's sister). As, you already know Robert was a carpenter.
